I have been practising yoga for over 15 years. It first came to my attention as an effective way to cope with a high-pressure job, a busy life as a working mum, as the perfect complement to my gym workouts. In the last 4 years I have given it more and more priority as I realised how helpful it is for overall mind and body health. Eventually I took the plunge into the 200 hour yoga teacher training with the Akasha Yoga Academy based in Bali.
Now I am fully qualified as a Yoga Alliance International registered 200 hour yoga teacher. It is a true joy to share my passion for yoga with others. My classes are designed with the needs of the students fully in mind.
I believe it is so important to work with the body with awareness, to avoid over- stressing the body. Your body can tell you what it needs on any one day – and it may vary from day to day.. In my approach I encourage the student to tune into the body’s own innate sense of what feels right.
